The therapeutic relationship is a partnership.  To be effective, it is essential to develop a strong, trusting, and safe collaboration.  To this end, I am committed to providing treatment that honors each client's unique needs, values and lived experience.

I take a holistic approach to wellness and support my clients to nurture both the mental and physical components of maintaining a full and meaningful life.  Through my work at GMHC, American Cancer Society, Alzheimer’s Association, and the Lymphoma Research Foundation I have dedicated my career to supporting people live meaningful lives when faced with chronic or life threatening health conditions.

My work is informed by my Master’s degrees in Counseling from NYU and Human Services from Northeastern University and my Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from UC Berkeley.  I draw from various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Relational-Cultural theory.  I am bilingual and am committed to providing quality therapy to Spanish speaking communities.  I am sensitive to the complexities of cross-cultural living and am passionate about exploring issues of diversity, acculturation, and identity.

Guided by my sense of compassion and authenticity, I support my clients to break through old patterns and regain a sense of clarity, direction, and personal empowerment.
