Therapy is allowing the space for the unsayable to become sayable. This is because being heard and seen for who we are is transformative. Though I believe that the past makes itself known in the present, I'm committed to joining you in making changes in the here and now. My curiosity, compassion, and authenticity will help you to feel safe and comfortable to collaboratively work towards restoring your sense of well-being.

I have a down-to-earth style informed by my commitment to understanding the whole person. I do not believe in a "one size fits all" approach to therapy. We all have different strengths and struggles. Instead I tailor my interventions to the unique needs of each individual or family I work with.

I am passionate about helping children and teens facing developmental, emotional, and behavioral obstacles including struggles with anxiety, loss, trauma, attention deficit and hyperactivity, low self-esteem, social pressure, and bullying.  I utilize play therapy, yoga/mindfulness techniques, and DBT/CBT in my work with children and families. I enjoy keeping up with pop culture from children’s literature to Netflix series, movies, and music which helps me to easily connect to kids.  My approach is hands on, collaborative, and inviting.

I am a Columbia University trained NY State Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a strong background in treating adults, adolescents, children and families with a variety of issues including those affected by relationship and career challenges, trauma, loss, ADHD addiction, depression, anxiety, and severe mental illness. I believe that we all have the capacity for personal growth and change, and I feel honored to help my clients on their journey to self-discovery.
