There’s a lot to be anxious about these days. We live in a complex and competitive world that leaves many of us feeling on edge. As we rush to meet deadlines, keep up on social media and the 24-hour news cycle, we often find ourselves restless, overwhelmed by choice and a fear of missing out. Our anxious minds play our worst fears and insecurities on repeat. At best, it’s annoying and unpleasant. At worst, it’s debilitating and isolating.

The truth is, anxiety is a basic fact of being human. It’s our body’s response signal to uncertain situations and potential threats. But when our anxiety gets distorted, we underestimate our own capacity to handle the threat. If left unmanaged, this may lead to social withdrawal and panic attacks.

It doesn’t have to be this way. And you don’t have to go at it alone. Our counselors will help you stop the anxiety spiral early and learn strategies to address perfectionism, procrastination, and intolerance of uncertainty. Finding a sense of calm can liberate you to rediscover the fullness of who you are.
